A business born from a global need for location intelligence and nurtured into an integrated eco-system of individually differentiated capability all aligned by our immense passion for geospatial intelligence.

Geo Intelligence Corp (GeoInt) was founded with the express purpose of capitalising on the envisaged growth in the geospatial intelligence market by assembling an eco-system of data sources and technical capabilities. Whilst young in its organisational history, the organisation boasts enviable pedigree in its leaders and market associates.

We commenced our journey by taking ownership of TomTom SA. The business is now called mapIT and is the primary distributor of all TomTom maps and related products, for the southern African region. mapIT has established itself as a respected participant in the geospatial market with a deep penetration and understanding of the telematics and logistics sectors.

Our differentiated relationship with TomTom is a real point of pride for us. TomTom has been identified as a global market leader in location intelligence solutions and consistently placed in the leadership quadrant in this domain.

GeoAnalytics and Location Intelligence

Companies and society are faced with increasingly complex problems. While at the same time digitalisation is providing a new wave of innovation to help solve these problems. Inherent in this complexity is location – everything happens somewhere, and this context is critical to unlocking relevant and value adding solutions.

This is the world of GeoAnalytics and Location Intelligence - GEOINTELLIGENCE– the convergence of advanced digital technologies (machine learning, IoT, advanced and modern computing technologies) and Socio-Economics (the discipline that seeks to understand the earth, society and their natural interacting complexities).

The demand for GeoSpatial content is on the rise in Business, Governments and consumers, but with increased volumes and velocity of data available, and the speed at which complex decisions are demanded, GEOINTELLIGENCE can only be delivered through the efficient harnessing of data and analytics to produce insights and products for the market.

GeoInt Corp brings a differentiated expertise in solving complex business and society problems that is at the its very core innovative, digital and inherently spatial. We integrate all aspects of the value chain bringing data and technology together to deliver insights and products to Business, Government and Society.
